| Dangle Medicine Bag Brain tan (smoked)deer skin, glass beads, and lots of items dangling from the fringe. VERY TRADITIONAL! Hundreds of different items were either traded or taken by war parties. Natives looked upon these items as having "powerful medicine" and attached them to their medicine bags. One of the more interesting items is the sewing thimble. Similar medicine bags have been seen in several museums with thimbles attached to them. The medicine bag measures approximately 4" wide x 10" in length.
